Fiona spent the first part of her life in a battery cage at a large egg laying facility in Colorado. After her egg production slowed down, she was considered ‘spent’ by the industry, and she was shipped to Utah to be ground up and fed to mink in fur farms. Luckily, Fiona escaped this fate and ran off into a nearby neighborhood. After Fiona’s stray hold was up at the shelter, we picked her up and brought her to Sage Mountain to give her the life she has always deserved.
