Suzy was rescued just before Thanksgiving in 2018 when Direct Action Everywhere (DxE) negotiated with a Utah turkey farmer for her release. He allowed our group of activists to liberate 100 turkeys that day. Each one was taken to sanctuary and given the life they deserve. Suzy and her sisters will live out the remainder of their lives knowing nothing but love, compassion, and true freedom at Sage Mountain.
Suzy enjoys pecking at your gloves to take them and play with them, watching what volunteers are doing and expressing how she feels.
