Through another act of compassion, Tara and her sister Kong Ga were given the chance to live out the rest of their lives here at Sage Mountain. They, along with 18 other individuals, were surrendered right before Thanksgiving of 2020. This action was made possible through the partnership of DxE (Direct Action Everywhere) and the owner of one of the largest turkey processing plants in the country. These days, the girls spend their days with the freedom to be themselves alongside our other “Holiday Survivors” from years past.
Tara enjoys hanging out with her chicken friends, eating watermelon and taking lots of naps.
