Volunteer Day
We hold Volunteer Days every Saturday from 9AM- 11AM. We begin by outlining safety precautions, followed by tackling chores such as cleaning coops, scrubbing bowls, mucking, sometimes other chores depending on the day. Then we spend the remaining 20 minutes visiting the animals.
Volunteer Days are open to all ages, making them a great opportunity for families to give back—just be sure kids are accompanied by an adult!
We are under construction this year for our new barn, so please excuse our mess upon arrival. Thank you in advance for your understanding!
To schedule a big group volunteer day of 10+ people, for your business or group, please email us at info@sagemtn.org to coordinate. Thank you!
Regular Volunteer Shifts
If you’re interested in regularly volunteering at Sage Mountain, see details below and fill out the form if you’re interested. Thank you!
Right now we have primarily cleaning shifts available for anyone interested in volunteering with us regularly. Cleaning shifts consist mostly of mucking/raking up poop in the main yard, emptying, cleaning and refilling the big water troughs, along with other chores like cleaning coops depending on the day.
Cleaning shifts can be done at almost any time of the day, with midday being the most ideal. Cleaning shifts must be at least once a week or once every other week, with every week being preferred. Most every day of the week is open for cleaning shifts currently, so please indicate which day you’d be interested in when filling out the form below.
We hope to hear from you soon!
